Somers Vision Clinic is a full-service optometric center that was established in 2002 by Dr. Steven Squillace,
an optometrist with more than 30 years of clinical practice. The clinic provides comprehensive eye exams
for children and adults; prescriptions with specific lens requirements; urgent eye care for ocular emergencies;
and contact lens evaluation, using a variety of brands and materials.
Dr. Squillace is an associate staff member of Johnson Memorial Medical Center (JMMC), part of the
Trinity Health New England network. He provides urgent care consults referred by JMMC.
Dr. Squillace also specializes in visual skills and perceptual evaluation for special visual needs.
He provides customized vision therapy plans for people of all ages who have visual skills deficiencies.
Somers Vision Clinic uses state-of-the-art equipment to diagnose eye diseases, such as macular degeneration,
and diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy. Corneal topography is available to customize the best possible
fit for complex contact lens prescriptions.
Somers Vision Clinic has more than 500 eyeglass frames for men, women and children.
Also, there is a nice selection of non-prescription sunglasses.
Dr. Squillace is available for appointments in our Somers, Connecticut office during the following days and times:
Saturday, Monday and Tuesday mornings
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons
